Orbit 54010 Shrub and Plant Sprinkler Head | 90 Degree 1/2 Spray Pattern

The plastic shrub spray head is perfect for applications where the spray nozzle needs to be positioned above surrounding shrubs or flowers. It features an adjustment screw that allows you to reduce the spray pattern to 75% of its maximum radius of 15 feet. The inlet threads are 1/2-inch female pipe thread (FPT), and the most common installation method is on top of a 1/2-inch male pipe thread (MPT) rigid PVC riser. As plants grow, you can easily extend the shrub spray head above the plants by adding a PVC Coupling and another riser.

Both the adapter that attaches to the riser and the spray nozzle are constructed from plastic. The spray nozzle can be replaced without having to replace the entire head. The replacement nozzle is the male thread brass insert nozzle for flush heads. Please note that these shrub heads do not have pressure-regulating riser stems and are not for sale in California and other states that require pressure regulation.

The recommended operating pressure is 30 PSI, and it should only be used for outdoor irrigation with cold water. It is ideal for watering trees, shrubs, perennials, or annuals of various heights. The shrub adapter combined with a male thread fixed pattern spray nozzle is available in full, half, and quarter patterns to suit a variety of landscape designs. The shrub adapter also allows for replacement with the same or different pattern nozzle. It is compatible with nozzles from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. Please check the local code for any restrictions, as these are non-pressure regulating.

For optimal water conservation, it can be controlled with a B-hyve smart controller. This shrub spray head is a versatile and convenient solution for above-ground watering applications.
