Shrub Head Sprinkler Adapter with Adjustable Spray Nozzle

The shrub head spray, when combined with various lengths of PVC risers, provides an effective way to distribute water over trees, shrubs, perennials, or annuals. It integrates a shrub adapter with an adjustable pattern spray nozzle and filter. The inlet of the shrub adapter is 1/2-inch female pipe thread (FPT). Typically, it is mounted on top of a 1/2-inch male pipe thread (MPT) PVC riser or 1/2-inch MPT adjustable shrub riser during installation. The riser is usually installed in a 1/2-inch PVC Tee or Elbow underground.

With the adjustable pattern nozzle, users have the flexibility to adjust the arc from 0 to 360 degrees and the radius down to 50% of the rated distance. The nozzles are replaceable with all Orbit, Hydro-Rain female-thread nozzles, as well as nozzles from other major manufacturers. It's important to note that the standard adjustable spray head does not include pressure-regulating riser stems and is not accessible for purchase in the State of California. However, there are pressure-regulating versions available for those in need.

This product is suitable for outdoor irrigation use with cold water only, making it ideal for watering trees, shrubs, perennials, or annuals of various heights. In addition, the shrub adapter allows for replacement with the same or different pattern nozzle and is compatible with nozzles from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. It's important to check local codes for any restrictions, but the product can be controlled with a B-hyve smart controller for optimal water conservation.
